Walgreen Even Better

Yesterday, I wrote about how much i having fun shopping at CVS.

After I start shopping at CVS, I saw a lot of opportunity from other store.

Two week ago my local store Bashas had a promotion that you get $10 Bashas shopping money back for buying P&G $25 value. We usually buy some grocery from Bashas so I use the money which is going to go Bashas anyway to get some free shampoo. Bashas had a sale for Herbal Essences 2/$5 and I had coupon expire soon. So I got 10 shampoo and conditioner combination and used (5) 2/$3 Coupon. So I paid $10 for 10 Herbal Essences Product then got $10 Bashas Money Back. Good Job for myself.

Now about Walgreen shopping different way.

They give you real cash with rebates check or 10% more for choose Walgreen gift card .

I searched for my old Walgreen Gift card(they are rechargeable).

They have Register Reward program work like CVS ECB. But Good thing Walgreen Gift card is real money allow you to buy like Target Giftcard, Olive Garden, Barns and Noble. Even they carries Seventh generation detergent and Jason Product which is my favorite. I don't need much things from Walgreen because I can get it from CVS almost free.

So I set up my own plan.

My plan is raising Walgreen gift card balance with a little investment.

Rule 1. Only go Walgreen when they have $5/$20 coupon.

Rule 2.Only buy free after rebate items with coupon.

So I had my first visit on July 31 with (2)$5/$20 coupon.

They having a promotion for 3/$10.

Transaction 1

(6) olay body wash for $20 -$5 off/$20 -(6)$2coupon

final price $3+tax and got $7 register reward

Transaction 2

Bio fusion shampoo @$5.99

Bio fusion conditioner @$5.99

Jane mineral foundation @$4.99

Walgreen light bulb @$1.99

Math work book @$2.99 (filler-not in picture)

pay with $5/$20 off and $7 register reward from transaction 1

then paid $11.** out of pocket. And will get $20.86 in my Walgreen Gift card.

Well, I had Pert Shampoo coupon will make my plan even better but Pert Shampoo are all out of stock.

Now I am done with Walgreen this month. Alreday wait for next month when they have another $5/$20 coupon day.

Dreaming someday I will have enough my own Walgreen Shopping free Money~~
